Links broken after uploading Joomla-site

Hello!
I ouploaded my (unfinished) site from my local host, to go on working on-line. Using Joomla and EasyPhp and the excellent TNT guide. The frontpage is now uploaded and looks as it does at the local host. But all the other pages are without images, no backgrounds, no lay-out. Only text.
When I click on a link i get index.php added between the domainadress and the name of the page, and next click I get another index.php and so on...after a while I get an adress like www.therightdomainname.com/index.php/in ... p/pagename and of course the browser won´t find anything.
Does anyone recognize this or have a clue?
(I guess it´s obvious that I´m a complete beginner at this, learning by doing, trial and error...)

Well, I´ve struggled with this for some hours now and have no idea. Tried to renew links in the menu, but it doesn´t change anything. I have gone through css, php and html-files but.... At the localhost there´s one index.php in all the adresses after the frontpage but here I can get 6 index.php in a row, and that looks very odd, but I don´t know the reason. But it´s a bit above my level, this...

Fixed . I edited configuration.php on the server.

The lines to change when you move Joomla - in order to fix internal links (other users will obviously have to change manco to their user name):

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Show ]

Using php Syntax Highlighting

var $log_path = '/home/manco/public_html/logs';
var $tmp_path = '/home/manco/public_html/tmp';
var $live_site = 'http://yourdomain.com';

Then empty the cache folder on the server.

As far as I can see the site looks and works like it does at the local host now.
