To integrate Internet Explorer 7 you need an XP disc with Service Pack 2.
XP disc with no Service Pack? How to slipstream SP2.
Slipstream Service Pack 3 and Internet Explorer 7 into Windows XP.
A. Insert your XP disc (press the <Shift> key to cancel autoplay).
B. Download Service Pack 3 for Windows XP from Microsoft.
C. Download Internet Explorer 7 from Microsoft.
D. Download and install the program nLite.
E. Start nLite - click Next until you arrive at the Locating the Windows installation page.
Click Browse >> new window - select the drive with your XP disc, then click OK. Back at the first window >> click Next.

F. Now nLite will ask you where to save the CD installation files for modification >> click OK.

G. Create a folder where you save the files from the CD.
Click Create new folder, enter a folder name, then click OK.

H. nLite will start copying the installation files to the folder you created. When finished >> click Next.

I. Click Next until you're at the Task Selection page.
Select "Service Pack", "Hotfixes, Add-ons and Update Packs" and "Bootable ISO" >> click Next.

J. Click Select. You will be asked if nLite should remove previous hotfixes >> click Yes.
Find and select the Service Pack 3 executable you downloaded earlier >> nLite will start integrating SP3.
Once finished >> click OK, then Next.


K. Time to add Internet Explorer 7.
Click Insert >> Find and select the IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu executable you downloaded earlier.

Click Next, then Yes at the next screen:

L. When the IE 7 integration has finished >> Click Next.

M. Now you need to create an ISO image that will be used to burn the slipstreamed CD.
Choose Create Image, then click Make ISO.

N. Select where to save the image >> click Save.
The ISO image will be created >> once finished click Next and close nLite.

Burn the ISO image to CD with, for example, ImgBurn.
